The Embroiderers
Guild, Victoria

Maintaining a high standard of design and technique in embroidery.

Promoting cooperation and interchange of ideas amongst those engaged in or interested in embroidery in Victoria and other parts of the world.

The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria (Australia) is a not-for-profit organisation open to all lovers of embroidery and textiles, whether beginner or expert. We have approximately 2000 members throughout the state of Victoria, including 11 Country Branches.

Our home in Malvern a suburb of Melbourne (Victoria's capital city) provides a friendly centre for members to attend classes, enjoy talks, meetings, exhibitions and displays.

Special interest groups exist for a range of techniques such as counted thread work, canvas work, crewel work, lace making, machine embroidery, patchwork, beading and tassel making, ceremonial embroidery and more.
