2010 is our 50th anniversary year.

OUR CELEBRATION SAMPLER

A counted thread sampler based on items from our Collection has been designed for all our members to stitch.

Instructions were included as loose leaf inserts in Threadlines our monthly newsletter:
June, July, August and November 2009.

Each member is encouraged to make the sampler her own by selecting thread colour, rearranging bands, adding beads, etc.

Rather than stitch the entire sampler, some members might decide to take the motifs and use them on small pieces.

In November 2010, there will be a display of all sampler work in the Gallery at Embroidery House.

WORKSHOPS

The tutors who developed this design will run workshops at Embroidery House, 10am-3pm, to assist members.

The price of a workshop is $10.00.
Use the usual class enrolment form.

• Saturday July 31, 2010. Confirm and pay at least 1 week before this date.

TREASURE PACKS
"Treasure packs" are available ($10.00) to help you.
They contain photos of smaller items,
using some motifs to inspire you to make smaller pieces,
plus dimensions for smaller pieces.
The photos are sufficiently detailed so that they show
how to use motifs
to make your own needlecase, scissors keeper, etc.
